In general, I've been upset with the politics of the Philippines lately.

The older group in general have been more towards a Republican candidate than a Democratic one.
The Philippines is inherently a religious population, and it worries me about their position about birth control, even if it is just prophelactics. They are teetering in the edge of over-population to food supply. They are hoping that advances in agriculture will be able to keep pace with their exploding population.
They even threatened ex-communication on any politician that considers supporting birth control.

Stating that, I find that the more affluent and socio-economic conscious parts of the population tend to go Democratic.

So in general, I find that many of those under 40, from the Philippines that I have met tend to trend Democratic as well.

Thankfully, I feel the same way as her in regards to Romney. That guy scares the hell out of me in public office.
He is a one term governor, there must be a reason for that.
