Around Asheville where I live now I've often seen the "food activists" pushing an all or nothing approach where they want the kind of organic, non-gmo, expensive foods they like put into shops in underserved areas. A story ran about a local gas station in a poor area that was expanding its fresh food selection with a donated cooler and in the comments people were complaining that it wasn't local food, wasn't certified organic, and so on.

The biggest problem is these kinds of people arrogantly assume the way they like something is how everyone else should like it.
