Later in the video in the OP, you can see the woman handler urging the same dog to go after more protesters. The dogs were even biting the horses that some protesters were riding!

Eventually, a bunch of protesters crowded the guards and dogs, threatening both the mercenaries and the lunging, snapping dogs with the pointed ends of their flagpoles, which is what finally got the mercenaries to get into their trucks and leave--because instead of being intimidated and running away, the protesters got even angrier, braver, more determined, and more united.

ON EDIT: I love animals, and I don't blame the dogs. They were turned into attack dogs by training and by the way they were used against peaceful protesters exercising their First Amendment rights. The protesters didn't actually hurt the dogs--but they created a solid wall of people armed with poles against the dogs and mercenaries and threatened both the dogs and the handlers with their poles--as even I would have under the circumstances, despite my love for dogs.

This is very bad, stupid PR for the company building the pipeline and for the government agencies that have okayed it and that are allowing them to attack the protesters.

MSM and LEO LIES. This picture and the video linked in the OP show that peaceful protesters were attacked and injured!
