A friend called and said there were planes being hijacked. Having practically no sleep that night due to it being the first anniversary of my own father's sudden passing, I said I didn't give a flying fk.
He said hang up. Get up. Watch.
Then my mom beeped in and said get up.
See we are PST so the second plane had just hit when I turned on T V.
Then I was on the phone half the day as everyone tried to work through what was going on.
