Anyone can find Internet sources to support anything they can imagine. The Internet has no filters. It holds both information and misinformation. Only by using critical thinking can one separate the two.

You are correct. We need to be teaching that skill to everyone, from children to old geezers like me. Anything sourced anywhere on the Internet must be carefully fact-checked before accepting it. Otherwise, we believe bullshit as often as fact. That is a sad state of affairs, in my opinion.
