(18,115 posts)15. Looking at the before and after pictures, the "trees" seem to be
shrubs or vines. People often call shrubs trees when the are taller than they are wide. Although the articles mentions "apple tree, walnut tree, pecan trees" were cut down, it doesn't say how tall they were. They could have been shorter and more scraggly than what you are imagining and could possibly have been cut down with loppers.
It looks like she has a good case, though. All those plants that were removed are edible.
