They never say a word about this kind of terror and horror in the home. Never. Their sermons blast everyone but the monsters in their own midst.

Don't even try to sell me your conversion bullshit. As long as Christians allow this sort of thing and cover it up, they are as guilty as the abusers.

Recently met (and was unsuccessful at doing anything to help) a very troubled woman raped by her Seventh Day Adventist family for years. That was a new one for me, hearing of this sort of thing in that faith.

But any religious group that tries to set itself apart as "better than the rest" and becomes cultish is prone to this crap. And the adherents deeply want to be loved by the abusers and seen as "good" in the church, so they turn their heads even when they suspect the worst.

Nope. Leave me out of your faiths that allow young people to be destroyed this way. Your "god" is a loser.
