2. To me, the issue isn't whether Obama was interrupted

Any loose cannon can interrupt a President or throw something at him at any given time. The disrespect shown by one person is only significant to me if it is widely approved of and ratified by others in that person's party. For me what's interesting is how the interrupter is considered by others. The shoe thrower in Iraq was taken down, arrested, and removed. Munro was given high fives from conservatives across the Internet. If you have the stomach for it you can search through conservative websites like theconservativereview.com that are high-fiving Munro or the Daily Caller that says it's "proud" of his interruptions of the President. And Fox News is supporting Munro's disrespectful action when they do things like edit out Bill O'Reilly's criticism of Munro on his show.
