but it's an unfortunate truth that candidates of any party usually respond to such questions with talking points. They change the subject, immediately, and talk about what they want to. It will be up to the moderator(s) to hold them to account by posing followup questions, and don't hold your breath 'till that happens. Even pointed followups don't usually work. About the best we can hope for is that moderator's questions will rattle T-rump, and he'll get off his script and bury himself.
