7. In support of cheap labor methinks

Lots of cons are. Around here, contractors are a huge lobbying force for having the immigrants legal-ish. The US CoC too as always been a supporter of having legal-ish immigrants. By "ish", I mean decriminalized just being here, yet still exploitable.
