(36,798 posts)56. I agree that the most parsimonious explanation is that the gun was kicked away.
Some here seem to think it is easy to get away with throwing down a gun. Only in the movies.
There would be the problem of no prints or DNA on the gun - or the wrong prints or DNA on the gun. And then there is the question of having a gun available for a throw down. Again, only in the movies.
