Anything bad that happens during a Republican administration is due to the most recent Democratic administration.
Anything bad that happens during a Democratic administration is due to the current Democratic administration.

Anything good that happens during a Democratic administration is due to the most recent Republican administration.
Anything good that happens during a Republican administration is due to the current Republican administration.

You see it with the economy, with national security, with natural disasters, etc. And the media is more than happy to play along.
