7. the anti-tax right has become the FREE LUNCH RIGHT

The nation works best when the private and public sectors bootstrap each other. Government provides the infrastructure... from public health to education to highways to police/fire protections etc. This makes the private sector more efficient which then pays taxes to provide for more government infrastructure.

The anti-government right has lost site of this simple equation and has not just tried to sabotage the fiscal health of the nation but some cheer tax evasion. They've deluded themselves they can have tax cuts based on borrowed money and refuse to see that deficits and debt are one generation wanting a free lunch while sending the bill to our kids and grandkids. Sadly this idea has begun to infect the Dems as well. Back in 2000 libs were against Bush's irresponsible tax cuts but instead wanted to pay down debt. Now, Obama has bought into structural deficits by making most of Bush's irresponsible tax cuts permanent.
