Amazing how often some prosecutors will be more focused on just getting a conviction rather than seeing to it that justice is served. Certainly true in the Knox case and countless others.

Getting a wrongful conviction overturned is even worse. The state powers that be would sometimes have an innocent person remain locked up, or even on death row, rather than admit they made a mistake.

They of course have their futures to think about.
