NBC has to protect their brand, and the safely mommy and family friendly Today Show. The network can't afford to alienate their audience, and if all those women viewers associate Billy Bush with the crass and lewd womanizer, Donald Trump, he's gone. Like it or not, its the same perception of 'birds of a feather' that has ended many a career.
