While he will retain a base of support, he's lost an equal number of former supporters and customers who will not return. In fact, this is why I believe Trump TV is a fantasy: he won't have enough viewers, there won't be enough variety of content and he won't have enough deep-pocket advertisers to support a 24-hour cable channel. As an example, look what happened to Sarah Palin's TV shows.
Second, Donald Trump may very well be in jail in 2020. There are numerous legal battles that he is fighting, must serious among them being the RICO charges against Trump University, (if he's found guilty, he could face a long jail term). The hyper-scrutiny that he is experiencing-- for the first time in his life!-- is going to expose lots of dirt and possibly additional legal problems.
There is a great possibility that Donald Trump will never recover from this debacle. (I wrote about this in an earlier post:http://www.democraticunderground.com/10028200803) In any event, Mr. Trump is so stupid that he has no idea of the big league hurt he is about to experience. Personally, I'll enjoy his demise because he has been such an evil, corrosive force in our culture.
