Literary Critics who also never "made" it as actual literary practitioners find this bestowed glory to be stupendously a *fail*.

I mean, the fellow and his songs occupied a certain niche in my life - that was then & was sealed off to that time and place of my life. I've never read KIPLING but certain of his idioms and phrases are instantly shock-of-recognition (yeah, that's MELVILLE) to me, as are some of Bob D's lyrics.

Just saying, that a certain amount of MASSIVENESS, like with Homer, is connoted by Glory, not a few dozens of ditties.

Well, my brother, am not used to getting into "heavy" discussions with you!1
