15. your parents help form you

you don't know what it would have been like with other parents...odds are there would be fundamentally different things about you, how you think, your personality, etc. There are probably some things that would stay the same, nature v nurture and whatnot, but we aren't who we are solely through the force of our own will, we are shaped by our environment and our parents.
