5. Wow. What a heart felt letter and message.

I cannot fathom the hostility focused on the "other" by adults and children. The "other" in this case being kids that are attacked constantly because they speak differently or dress "funny".

I would hope if a young person felt they could trust me that they would come to me for support which I would give wholeheartedly and without thought. However that has never happened.

It did happen back in 1989ish to a young gay man (a boy of 16) who my sister knew. The awesome Psychiatrist that was assigned to him molested him then gave him enough powerful drugs to allow him to kill himself. The "doc" just lost his license nothing more. Fucker should have been dumped in the ocean with anvil tied to his feet.
