12. That Romney bested Shannon O'Brien is like saying that

some random guy on the street could beat me at basketball (honestly, if you're over 5 foot 2 like me you could do it). Really, Shannon O'Brien was the most underwhelming candidates I have ever seen the Democrats put up for a major office. (Disclosure: I supported Robert Reich in the Democratic gubernatorial primary that year; he definitely would have outdebated Mitt Romney, even if he would have had to stand on a box to do it).
