My thinking on this case had become so uptight, I was missing the obvious answer.

His buddie is Vlad the impaler. His surrogate Giuliani looks like Nosferatu, his supporter Rick Scott looks like bat boy, his campaign's chief flack Conaway has cute little fangs.

He's hugely, bigly, in love with himself, but there are no mirrors visible anywhere in his domicile or offices. He never goes into a church or anywhere a cross is present. He always orders that pizza he eats (with a fork and knife, instead of by hand, like normal humans) with no garlic in the sauce, because he claims to be "allergic".

They only come out at night.
