In this very important election year, we have an abundance of creepies and crawlies to choose from. Has there ever been a more horrifying collection of Scary Monsters in an election season?

Why do I ask that question every year? They're always bad.

The winner will be announced at Midnight ET on Halloween, when the Rotting and Desiccated Corpse of the Late H. Lee Atwater will rise from his grave in South Carolina and over the award with his boney hands.

Last year's winner was "The Whole Damn Republikkan Klown Kar": http://www.democraticunderground.com/10027304356 along with the winner of the Second Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil, Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney, Pig Boy Rush Limbaugh. Let's let's see who else will win this year, shall we?

Since we have so many to choose from, we're going to have a playoff until 6PM ET and the the two conference winners will be locked in a championship match until midnight.
