popularizing anal sex among heterosexuals. A lot of couples try it. Probably most don't care for it, and don't do it, but it's a popular theme in video porn, which a lot of couples watch together.

It's a matter of indifference for most people, unpopular with others, and enjoyed by some.

Why do you care, Pat? What difference does it make to you? If you don't want to do it, don't, assuming that you are even still engaging in sexual activities.

Leave people alone to figure out their own sexual preferences, OK?

Besides, as far as I know, Jesus isn't recorded as having discussed sexual behavior in detail at all. You won't find any New Testament verses about anal sex. It wasn't one of the areas of concern. However, judging others certainly was. Maybe you should re-read that Bible.
