away this past thursday.
My beautiful, compassionate and loving husband passed away from liver failure on Thursday Nov. 3rd. He was listed on a liver/kidney transplant list. We made it all the way to #2 in our region until he was stricken with a fungal infection in his brain. He passed away peacefully as I held his hand with hospice in our home.
My husband was a kind man. He was an inspector and drove all around Austin when he was working. He would go to the store once a week and buy bread, cheese and cold cuts along with juice and water and cookies. He would spend hours on a sunday night making kits that he handed out to homeless people while out and about in our city. He would also buy a huge bag of dog food and treats and hand out to the homeless that had dogs. He was a lover of animals and nature. He was also a lover of our older population and would always check in with as he inspected different properties. He loved me, our dogs and his family.
There are so many other things I can say about a wonderful man he was but it would fill this page!
In his memory, please make sure you are an organ donor. If we had enough of them he would have been transplanted when he truly got sick! we wouldn't have had to wait so long. The last year and a half have been horrific and hard on his body and our lives.
Save lives... become an organ donor now. Do not wait.

He was not able to vote but he wanted too. He was a Hillary fan.
