Home from work due to steady rain, I can see the parking lot of the church that is the polling place for the surrounding neighborhoods, which have a fairly sizable mix of minority families. There has been a steady stream of cars coming and going, since I opened the blinds 3 hours ago. The elections I've been home to observe traffic in the past were nothing compared to what I'm seeing today, here in central Illinois.
