5. Republicans want term limits to defeat powerful Dems in gerrymandered districts.

First they force all the liberals into concentrated districts, then they end up with minority populations having the most powerful positions due to their long tenure. They cannot defeat the candidates in the heavily gerrymandered blue districts, so now Republicans need to impose term limits to get rid of those powerful black people.
