Showing Original Post only (View all)Let me make this crystal fucking clear. The word "Christian" ... [View all]
as it applies to politics and the so-called "Christian right" no longer has any meaning whatsoever.
I speak as a Christian myself ... one who has nothing but contempt for the phonies who wrap themselves in pious bullshit, while voting for an individual who is the very antithesis of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
The hypocrisy of certain self-described "evangelical Christians" is now on full display for anyone who cares to look.
Those people would vote for Beelzebub himself, if he had an "R" appended to his name. There's no need for them to pretend otherwise any longer; and every time they try to play that card, I will holler bullshit at the top of my lungs.

Your church sounds cool. Most interpret evangelical in a stricter sense, however.

I refer to the 'christian' right as christianists - they are no different from jihadists, IMHO
