46. When I sat down and started analyzing things

I've known one person since I was a baby and have continued our friendship out of family loyalty. When I sincerely took a look
at that relationship after a discussion with her where she defended Trump, I saw things very differently. I literally made a list of the times we've interacted over the last five or ten years, and every one of them had been HER having a crisis. The times I'd needed her ear, etc., she was always too involved in keeping her husband (at the time) happy.

I made the decision to just disconnect. No drama, just permission to go forward and search for more sincere friendships.
