If this was an issue for me, I'd simply expect everyone to keep their political thoughts to themselves on a day that celebrates good feelings and family.
I'm curious how you think your opinion can made them sad or ashamed. Most likely, nasty behavior by you will simply make them sad for YOU.
If you absolutely feel the need to bring up politics at Thanksgiving, perhaps ask reasonable why they voted the way they did. Exchange ideas and discuss like a reasonable adult.
I hope you have a stress-free and happy holiday. Politics should not supersede relationships that are important to us.
