Of course, I have lived all my life in a red state. Well, except for the ten years in Wisconsin and five school years in Minnesota, but even in Wisconsin I had a Republican Governor, Republican state legislators and a Republican Congressman or two.

Consider helping out at the losers' dinner. That is what I will be doing.

I know, I know, I should not call it a losers' dinner, but that's what I call it, and I am the biggest loser there, so I am talking about myself more than anybody else.

I don't care about the meal, and have never found any companionship there, but I like to help them clean up afterwards. Of course, as a janitor I am a trained professional in that task.

Better to do something than be depressed.

Consider a musical break too. I plugged in my old computer and listened to queen and def leppard for a few hours. Pretty sure that helped.
