69. I totally understand!

What I don't get are these people acting like "politics" is some insignificant matter that affects nothing, or that says nothing about the people who support certain politicians.

I consider friendship very personal and important. l barely have the time enough to spend with my many non-R friends. Why would I sacrifice any of that time to people who support philosophies and policies as abhorrent, unjust, and unreasonable as those associated with the modern Republican Party?

Same goes for my RW relatives. I would help them in an emergency if I could. Otherwise, I want as little to do with them as possible.

Ignore the bullies here trying to make you feel bad about your opinion on this. OK to disagree, but some of these replies are personal attacks on you and uncalled for, not to mention hypocritical.
