2. I'm lucky to be hosting a small gathering of like minded people.

Two young women, who will be at my house, voted for the first time, this year. Initially, both were Bernie supporters, as was I, but I encouraged them to support Hillary and they did. Both are pretty shattered and disillusioned. I can empathize. My first vote was for George McGovern.

I don't want them to let this experience sour them on being politically active. Anything I can share about my journey, that will help to get them back on track, I will.
