Back to Canada for my drugs [View all]

Prices had been hovering closely between insurance and Canada, but insurance prices were remaining lower. That shifted on me significantly.

Asacol HD prices shot through the roof. Went from paying about $75 for a 30 day supply to now over $500 for a 30 day supply.

Canada does have generic 800 mg Mesalamine pills, which are even cheaper than brand Asacol HD.

My GI doc and I have openly talked about buying from Canada, and he's fine faxing the prescription to a Canadian pharmacy.
