They're Calvanists. Predestinationalists: no number of good deeds will save your miserable immortal soul from eternal torture, your destination in the afterlife was predetermined. Only the preselected get to heaven.

It is a horrible religion, and their world headquarters is in Grand Rapids, MI where half the buildings downtown are named DeVos and where they roll up the sidewalks on Sundays.

And yes, the DeVos family got rich with the AmWay pyramid scam.
