but plenty of horrible ultra-conservative ideas. His presidency appears to be heading in a direction even more conservative than the established conservative leadership in Washington. He really appears to be the head teaparty air head.

It's pretty clear a majority of his voters voted because they wanted to "win" and not due to policy. Most have no idea what his policies are or the policies of the GOP party as a whole. Most will blame Obama when they fail or hurt them. These are the people that voted for W, and the GOP congress that spent 6 years trying to make their life worse. These are very ignorant people. It will dawn on some. W's popularity plummeted eventually, but most will never blame themselves and their voting habit. In time they'll likely hate Trump with a blinding passion. But they'll line up to vote for the next Trump expecting different results.
