The American intelligence community tends to get into deep shit every time they try that. Richard Nixon used the Army Security Agency to spy on Americans; Congress ordered the Army to dissolve the ASA within five years to keep it from happening again. The intelligence community WILL NOT risk its very existence by following Trump down some illicit rabbit hole.
