12. I would absolutely love to see the EC shock everyone and install Hillary Clinton.

A situation like that is the only path I can imagine to ever removing the electoral college. It can't be an instance where the EC delivers a Republican victory, because Democratic outrage on this issue doesn't mean anything. But if the conservative base were outraged to the point of demanding it's removal... who knows.
