all about the "competition" you know. You bring in a company to build plant and they get basically tax free status for 10 years or more. Happening all over. Might as well internationalize it. Here in Western Washington, Boeing was a fixture. Over the last few years they've moved their HQ to Chicago, and much when they ramped up production, they opened a plant in South Carolina to take advantage of tax breaks and their "right to work" status. Then, they threatened our state gov't to move the whole shebang and got another sweetheart tax deal to stay here.
