Yep, the media is sure going to keep an eye on the guy. This approach is going to work wonders for Trump.

Obama didn't realize that he didn't need to create or keep nearly as many jobs as he did. All he needed to do was pick out one or two specific companies and play up their plans to move jobs out of the country to the media. Then he makes a deal with them and plays that up to the media. The media eats it up. The white working class eats it up.

Trump can do this every six months, and the media would dutifully report his job saving heroics in large print on the front page. Meanwhile he might lose thousands of jobs per month net in the monthly jobs report. The media will dutifully put that in small print in the business and economy section. The economy could lose a million jobs in Trump's first four years, and Trump will be called a "Jobs President" by the Republicans. The Dems will gape in disbelief. The media will explain that the two parties disagree on Trump's jobs prowess.
