We're not "on the brink," we already had a divide that could not be breached, and the nation has fallen into the chasm. Millions of people betrayed intellect, precepts of their religion, their morals, and their duty to themselves, their children, and their nation to vote for Trump. We were already irrationally demonized and attacked by a mindless right-wing force, H merely our current leader.

As for the threat from the media, that one's easy: TURN TV POLITICS OFF. Read for information after vetting for honest sources. The forces of right-wing darkness DEPEND on people continuing to accept the faces on the screen as your news source.
