However, the fact that it did and took up as much air time as it did is why the West is in the state we are in.

Political news has devolved into becoming similar to a cafeteria in an elite private girls school.There is a lot of bitchy sniping and she said/he said gossip. In this case, it's done by people who create policy that influence the lives of millions and who are far removed from the consequences of their actions.

The news media should focus on how people are actually effected by Trump's bigotry and not on the feelings of aloof, millionaire commentators.
