to the 'white working class' voter.

OK...where are the interviews? It shouldn't be hard to get some of them to tell us why they voted for Trump.

Why not cut to the chase and ask them flat-out: What would it take for you to vote Democratic?

Why rely on an assumption? Why not gather data?

No one seems to know - or WANT to know - what "reaching out" would entail.

I believe it comes down to exactly what the article describes.
