I am vehemently against this bill. The Murphy bill, which was snuck in as an attachment to the 21 Century Cures Act is extremely repressive and scapegoats people with "mental illness". Not only is it scapegoating them, it considerably lessens their rights in which if it happened to any other disadvantaged group, wouldn't be tolerated.

Even if the Murphy bill wasn't part of the deal, I would still be opposed to it as I feel it considerably lessens patient protection as drugs and medical devices will be approved with lower standards, including anecdotal evidence.
