Plus they still have express lines with live cashiers. "Did you find everything you needed"? During busy Season they just hire more temp people and add more lines. Sometimes I have even seen the Managers working the checkout lines.
"Can I help you to your car with your groceries?" Always ask that. What supermarket has big umbrellas for the customers to use? BTW, they also hire people with disabilities quite a bit also.
I love Publix.
