2. The Nuremburg rallies were held every year from 1923 to 1938.

Each had a different theme. In 1933 the rally was called the "Rally of Victory" to commemorate the Nazi Party's seizure of power and the defeat of the Weimar Republic. Leni Riefenstahl's Triumph of Will was filmed at the 1934 rally, whose theme was "power."

Rallies are a nice way of reminding the people who's in charge, don't you think?
