HALF of America has been left behind. Half of Americans are poor or near-poor, cannot meet an unexpected $400 expense.

Many, many white people have been left behind.

If 'equality' means that more white people have to be left behind, in order to even up the numbers, white people won't support it.

White people who have been left behind don't want to step aside and allow new immigrants to get on the ladder in front of them.

If all white people were living on Easy Street, they would probably be completely OK with making room for lots of POC to come up and join them on Easy Street. But many white people aren't on Easy Street.

NO ONE wants to be left behind. They won't accept it willingly.

The only way forward as a winning political strategy and a winning way of life, is to demand, loudly, a system that does not leave ANYBODY behind.

And, sorry to be picky, but Hillary saying we need an economy that works for everybody, not just those at the top, is a weak statement. The only way it will work for the people in the bottom half is for the economy to work LESS WELL for the greedy sociopaths at Wells Fargo and Goldman Sachs. It's not something we can all create by working together. We need the DC Establishment to take strong action against the shysters and de-rig the system.

(not to say it was in any way sane to vote for Trump, who will make it all worse)
