14. I don't think antagonizing them would work.

She did the right thing by not saying much to them. They would have just bullied her more if she had tried to come back at them verbally.

I admire her restraint. But if she had done anything different, I would say she could have moved to a seat closer to the driver and let the driver know they were bothering her. The driver could have then stopped the bus and called 911 or the bus company. I honestly don't know that the driver even heard the kids because a bus is pretty noisy and depending on how far back she was sitting, the driver may have had no idea what the kids were saying.

The other thing I noticed is there are a couple times - once when she is holding her purse - that it appears a kid touches her. She pulls back so I sensed she was touched. ANY touch is assault. So if it was me, I'd be reporting them for assault. It doesn't matter that she wasn't physically injured.
