My thoughts as to why President Obama had to stand down on the hack before it happened [View all]

He is a constitutional scholar and genius so he knew that the attack had to actually happen before it could be called out.
Otherwise it would have been dismissed as politics.

Then the recount efforts had to play out rather then explode a public constitutional crisis when not needed.

Now we are at that point and I am betting he is working all hours of the day and night to find a peaceful and legal way out of this with members of both parties in congress.
