67. Transparent Rhetoric

Dec 2016

At this point in my life, "Democracy" has acquired a whole new and ugly meaning.

I detest Lindsay Graham just as much as I detest Trump, or anyone who plays the "...threat to Democracy..." card when, and only when, there's a direct threat to their own self interest. While it does give me great pleasure to watch these pathetic scoundrels claw away at each other (shame on me), I think this nation is rounding a corner to a very dark and painful place, the likes of which may be impossible to extricate ourselves from.

In my opinion, the only way we're going to restore Democracy is through term limits, 100% tax payer funded elections, and a total dismantling of the government/lobby merry go round. Of course this will require the masses tune out Dancing With The Stars and tune in to the vast amounts of information readily available. What are the odds?
