4. Not to mention immigrants. Where would america be if we didn't educate immigrants?

It's not just that they don't speak english: Many new students haven't even attended what we would call school: 1. Sit still and quiet 7 hours a day. 2. Read by yourself and understand. 3. Apply yourself all day. 4. Accept criticism and demand better of yourself.

Many of them have never even attempted education in their native language. The charters throw them out and still don't get better results.
